This program served to bring awareness about and invite the community to a fundraiser to benefits burn victims. Cody Milner and Keith Armington joined Wendy to discuss The Burn Foundation’s upcoming Bachelor and Bachelorette auction. Set for Saturday, July 9th at KOAS at The Palms, the auction will feature 14 to 16 firefighters from our community. They will be performing skits and acts in effort to raise funds for the programs offered by The Burn Foundation. These programs include After the Fire Is Out, which supports those in our community who are victims of a fire. Burn Survivor Initiative, which helps children with burns learn skills for a happy lifestyle. Fill The Fire Truck Toy Drive, which collects toys for our community’s children. And the Save A Life program. The foundation also uses the funds raised to send children to Burn Camp to learn coping skills after being affected by a fire. Cody and Keith spoke about what to expect at the auction and how the raised funds are allocated. They also spoke about how the community can get involved with donations and volunteering.
