GC Garcia, Inc. is a Nevada-based land planning and development services firm. They are currently celebrating our 25th anniversary, and they provide government and neighborhood relations, entitlements, due diligence, development coordination, permitting and business licensing. GC Garcia has been a part of the Southern Nevada community for so long and the betterment and advancement of the community is a part of their philosophy. So they look for organizations that do just that, so they can help give back in a positive, tangible way.
On March 4, during Nevada Reading Week, they hosted a fun “Reading to Rescued Dogs” virtual event with first graders from Robert Taylor Elementary school. The students practiced their reading skills via Google Classroom in front of a “panel” of “Pups on Parole” dogs from Heaven Can Wait.
GC Garcia, Inc were very proud to partner with two amazing charities for this event – Spread the Word Nevada, which works to advance early childhood literacy by placing books into the homes of Nevada’s at-risk, low-income communities; and Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, which works to end euthanasia for all animals and improving their quality of life spay & neuter, vaccinations, and adoptions.
