If team sports is your thing, their baseball team is frequently a contender and has even taken home a national championship. The CSN Coyotes are also proudly represented in basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball.

This program brought attention to the Nevada Prison Program at the College of Southern Nevada. Kesha Westbrooks was one of the student commencement speakers at this year’s graduation. Kesha spent time in the Nevada prison system and tells her story about how the prison program helped her get her college degree while she was incarcerated. Kesha, a veteran, cancer and stroke survivor, has overcome many challenges to achieve her educational goals. CSN’S Prison Education Program allows inmates to study for their degree on prison grounds and Kesha gives a full account of her experience and what she wants to do in the future to help others achieve their educational goals.
