LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a man arrested after a street stabbing that critically wounded two people is also believed responsible for two other deadly knife attacks on homeless women. Those attacks took place in a residential area east of the Las Vegas Strip. The suspect, 33-year-old Christopher Martell, refused to appear before a judge Thursday. He remains jailed without bail on murder and attempted murder charges. He’s due in court next Tuesday. Police say they used cameras posted in the area following the two earlier attacks to locate Martell and arrest him after Wednesday’s attack.
