The Raiders will be seeking their first 3-0 start since 2002 when they visit the Patriots. It won’t be easy against a New England team that has won the last five meetings and is 46-9 in regular-season games since 2003 following a loss. With a win, Bill Belichick can become the third head coach in NFL history to reach 275 regular-season victories. Raiders coach Jon Gruden is 0-2 all-time against the Patriots, losing the Tuck Rule game in the 2001 playoffs and in the 2005 regular season as Tampa Bay’s coach.
