What started as a peaceful protest on the Las Vegas strip Sunday night, eventually turned violent as Las Vegas Metro Police used tear gas and non-lethal rubber bullets to break up the protest. The Black Lives Matter protest began around 5 p.m. as the protesters marched up and down Las Vegas Blvd, peacefully. Later in the evening the protest tuned violent. Police did not say if or how many arrests were made. A peaceful protest was held last night Downtown Summerlin. The protests are in response to the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
