San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane is being sued by the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The resort says the NHL player failed to repay $500,000 in gambling markers the casino extended to him in April. According to court documents, Kane, who is a Canadian citizen, to out the marker on April 15, which would have been between games 3 and 4 in the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Sharks and the Golden Knights. The Cosmopolitan also seeks repayment of legal fees associated with the lawsuit.Representatives of the Sharks and the NHL weren’t immediately available for comment.
