Are the Oakland A’s going to be the latest sports franchise to relocate to Las Vegas. Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred told Oakland City Council, the A’s will relocate to Vegas, if the city doesn’t drop it’s lawsuit over the sale of land at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. At issue is the Oakland City Council’s decision to sue to block the county from selling its half-ownership of the coliseum site to the A’s. The city, which owns the other half of the coliseum complex, wants the county to sell its share to Oakland. But, Oakland doesn’t have the $85 million that the A’s are offering.
