Felony charges have been filed against former Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) CEO Rossi Ralenkotter and 2 other former executives over the misuse of $90,000 in Southwest Airlines gift cards that had been purchased by the LVCVA. A year long investigation that was prompted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal led to the charges being filed. The 72 year old Ralenkotter is facing theft and misconduct of a public officer charges.
Ralenkotter retired from the tax payer funded agency a year ago and could not be reached for comment.
His former Chief Marketing Officer, Kathy Tull, has also been charged with theft and misconduct by a public officer.
