It appears Allegiant AIrlines is close to reaching a stadium naming deal with the Raiders for the new Las Vegas Stadium.
While Allegiant and the Raiders refused comment, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, who covers the Raiders, tweeted out a deal close.
Rob Yowell, who is president of Gemini Sports Group in Arizona, and has been involved in naming rights deals in his more than 20-year career, said rumors abound that the team has locked in a deal valued at around $20 million to $25 million per year for an unknown period.
Allegiant Air is based in Las Vegas.
In May, the airlines parent company, Allegiant Travel filed for a trademark for “Allegiant Stadium”, but denied it had anything to do with the stadium being built in Las Vegas.
