Democrats in the U.S. House were forced to delete a tweet announcing their “Kids in Cages” hearing this week, after it was discovered the picture used was of kids in cages in 2014…when Barack Obama was President.

In a tweet Tuesday, the House Oversight Committee wrote, “Last week, members of our committee visited a detention center at the southern border and discovered grotesque treatment of children. This week, we are examining the inhumane treatment of the children in these detention centers.”

The tweet included the photo of kids behind a chain link fence sleeping under solar blankets and was used to try and promote the inhumane treatment of migrant children by the Trump administration. However, it was a picture of migrant kids in a detention facility from the Obama administration.

House Oversight Committee Republicans also pointed out the error, writing on Twitter, “You all know that’s a picture from 2014, right? Remind us who was President then.”
