Las Vegas is becoming a sports town, with the Golden Knights, the Raiders and the upcoming 2020 NFL draft, and Caesars Entertainment wants to capitalize on the growing popularity of sports betting across the country.
Caesars is teaming up with ESPN to build studios at the the Linq Hotel on the strip. The sports news company will create sports betting content, including its new show, The Daily Wager, at the new facility. Connor Schell, Executive Vice President of content for ESPN, said Las Vegas has become an “epicenter of sports culture, and a full studio presence in Las Vegas will help us create content that taps into that culture and grows our offerings to avid bettors and more casual fans,”. The studio will be ready next year.
