Caesars Entertainment has announced it's cutting jobs at it's Las Vegas headquarters.
They say the move will reduce expenses by $40-million annually. Caesars says the majority of the savings will come from not filling currently open positions and reducing consulting expenses. The company did not say how many people will lose their jobs. The company employs about 3,000 people in corporate positions around the U.S., including in legal, information technology, marketing, analytics, human resources and finance departments. The majority of the cuts will come to jobs based in Las Vegas. The announcement comes two months after MGM Resorts International, said it would cut corporate positions to save $100 million annually.
