Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested one of their own.
Patrol Officer Rachel Sorkow was taken into custody following an investigation that began in September of 2018. She is accused of sharing information from criminal justice information systems with unauthorized people and using her personal phone to record interactions with citizens — including one incident when she took a video of one person’s private parts without their knowledge. She was relieved of duty with pay last December while the investigation was being conducted. She is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
