Southern Nevada Home Prices Leveling Off

Home prices in southern Nevada have leveled off, according to a report from the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. The median home price for existing homes sold is $295,000. There were more homes on the market and fewer changing hands heading into the holidays. Local home prices have been rising since 2012, but have not reached the all time peak they hit in June 2006 of $315,000.

By the end of November, GLVAR reported 7,003 single-family homes listed for sale without any sort of offer. That’s up 54.3 percent from one year ago.
