Caesars CEO Says Parking Fees Having No Effect on Tourism

The head of Caesars Entertainment says parking fees at resorts on the Las Vegas strip are not hurting tourism. During a conference call with investors, Mark Frissora said the company looked into whether parking fees were “over the top” and offered free parking for 30 days at the Linq Hotel to test customer reaction. He said there was "absolutely zero change" - other than the comapny lost money on parking revenue, so the fees were reinstated. Investors and wall street analysts have become more concerned that rising resort and parking fees are causing some to shun the mega resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard.
