Brent Musburger to Become Voice of the Raiders

There will be a new, but very familiar, voice behind the Raider's radio broadcast this season. Veteran broadcaster Brent Musburger has signed a 3-year deal to take over the play-by-play announcer duties for the Raiders., starting this season. Musburger will take over for Greg Papa who has been calling the games since 1993 and is known for his signature, TOUCHDOWN.......RRRRRAAAAIIIDERS!!!  calls.

Since retiring from a 27 year career with ABC Sports, Musburger has been writing a sports betting column for the Review-Journal and helped launch the VSiN (Vegas Sports and Information Network) which is based at the South Point. Along with his play-by-play duties with the Raiders, Musburger will continue to be the managing editor and host of the live "My Guys in the Desert" broadcast on video and satellite radio.

Neither Musburger nor the Raiders would comment on the change in the broadcast booth.

You can hear all the Raider's action all season long right here on 101.5 FM / 720 AM KDWN, your Las Vegas home for Raider's football!!
