Marshawn Lynch is suspended for the week after he ran on the field and made contact with an official. He can’t practice with the Raiders, so he returned to his old high school to practice.
Lynch attended Oakland Tech in the early 2000s. He came out of high school as the number two running back in the class behind Adrian Peterson. Lynch chose to go to Cal, and now he is back in the Bay Area with the Raiders just 9.2 miles from his high school.
This season has not gone well for Lynch, he is averaging just 3.7 yards per carry, the second lowest mark of his career.
Despite that, Lynch has still given the Raiders moments of Beast Mode.
Lynch will miss this week’s game in Buffalo, the first NFL team he played for, but he will return the following week for the Raiders matchup with the Dolphins.
