Police say a 26-year old man was arrested several hours after a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting in Henderson that left a 77-year-old driver wounded in the leg.

Officer Rodrigo Pena says Aaron Matthew Keith was taken into custody early Monday at home in Las Vegas, where officers reported finding a 9 mm handgun believed to have been used in the shooting.

Pena characterized the 6:45 p.m. Sunday confrontation near Pacific Avenue and Van Wagenen Street as road rage. He says more than five shots were fired.

The wounded man was taken to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.

Keith was held at the Henderson Detention Center on $120,000 bail pending a court appearance on felony battery with a weapon and discharging a firearm charges.

Jail records don’t say if he has a lawyer.
