An abandoned apartment building in downtown Las Vegas went up in flames this morning. The 2-alarm fire was in a building on Utah Avenue near Las Vegas Blvd and Charleston. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says the fire started in an alley near the building, then spread to the back of the building and the roof. The fire started around 1:30 a.m. but took crews until about 4:15 a.m. to put it out.
