Brian A. Wittman is a nationally recognized speaker, author, talk radio host and a specialist in both financial and estate planning. As an Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Certified Estate and Trust Specialist, Brian has personally advised some of the country’s largest hedge fund and private equity managers with their own personal estate plans and trust administration for distribution of their personal assets to current and future generations of family members. Brian’s clients have included numerous corporate executives from global technology companies based in Silicon Valley and professional athletes in the NBA, NFL and MLB. Brian has successfully managed client assets held in family trusts over the last 13 years. In November 2008, Brian’s independent privately owned investment management and family office practice located in Nevada was acquired by UBS, Switzerland’s largest bank headquartered in Zurich.
In September 2009, Brian established a Registered Investment Advisory Firm specializing in investment management and estate planning for both retirement and non-retirement assets. Brian opened new offices in both Nevada and California where he currently manages his clients’ trust accounts and other investment portfolios held in qualified retirement accounts. Wittman Capital Management utilizes the platform and custodial services of one of the largest custodians in the United States, Charles Schwab & Co. with nearly $2.40 trillion in total client assets and 9.3 million brokerage accounts as of June 30, 2014.
In addition to having successfully completed multiple securities licenses series 7,63,66,24,31 over the past 13 years, Brian is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and enjoys coaching on the weekends his 9-year old daughter’s all girls’ soccer team in Southern Nevada. Brian is an associate member of the well-respected Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation Assisting Seniors, one of the largest 501(c) (3) non-profit charitable corporations providing on-going assistance to seniors living in Nevada. Brian and his firm have long supported the UNLV Rebel Athletic Fund for the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
